Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I was pleasantly surprised. Very good dinner after a long day of traveling with the family. Great wait staff. Inviting environment. We will be back on our next trip to Texas.

An unexpected treat in Paul's Valley. Excellent service and food. Great sauce. Definitely worth stopping. And prices are completely reasonable. We had the pasta sampler and a pizza. Both were perfect. Rolls served beforehand were soft and buttery. Really didn't expect such a great place attached to a truck stop. Will definitely return.

Great truck stop breaking point. Pasta Romano is good... Very rich as it is cream based. Lots of parking especially for tour buses. Lobster ravioli is excellent.

I must really know the good places to eat! A craving for Italian food had hit me, so I decided to try this little restaurant. Boy am I glad I did. The restaurant is connected with a Valero gas station, so this might be a good place for a truck to stop, eat, and rest. I had the Philly cheesesteak and a salad. Before the salads, they brought us some bread. The bread is excellent! Slap some butter on it and enjoy! The salad was very fresh. The cheesesteak was amazingly good for a Italian restaurant. The service was good with he waiter always keeping our glasses full. If you are passing through and are wanting a great meal and a snack and drink for the road, this is your place. I would recommend this to anyone who asked. P.S. The pizzas are really good, too.

Who knew that an Italian restaurant tied to a gas station would be so good. Everything was fixed perfectly and had great flavor. Really good surpise on our roadtrip.

This is a GREAT place to eat! We were headed to Dallas from OKC and decided we really should grab something to eat. We hated the thought of fast food so we searched YELP for places nearby. We chose Roma's because of the outstanding reviews, and now we are raving fans! Luan (a native of Albania - and now an Oklahoman!) was our server, and he did an excellent job! We truly enjoyed the food and the experience...such a special unexpected surprise! We had the Shrimp Napolini, Shrimp Roma, Salads with the house dressing, and ended with one of the best Tiramisu's I've ever tasted!! From the bread to the wine and coffee....a 5 star rating is WELL deserved!

So this is the best Italian food I've ever had at a gas station! Sorry but that's just funny to say. Honestly, it is some of the best Italian I've had anywhere. I had the Romo's special which was chicken, sausage, and ham sautéed with red peppers and black olive in an Alfredo sauce with a touch of marinara. I asked my waitress to add some mushrooms which she did and it was incredibly delicious. It came with a great salad to start and the lettuce was mixed and in great shape. I can't tell you how many places I've been to that will send an awful salad out before a"fantastic" entree. I got a tiramisu to go which was a delightful treat, not too heavy but still rich in flavor and the texture was spot on. All in all it is a great spot so don't pass it up! If they had coke products I would've given it 5 stars.

Stopped by based on a review. OMG the food was awesome. You would never think food this good at a place like this. Other half of the building is a Valero gas station. Ordered baked ziti, Stromboli, kids shrimp Alfredo and a siciliano plate. So, so good. The home Italian dressing is great on salad and the bread is super soft. Chain Italian restaurant got nothing of this, staff was very attentive and friendly.i

Substantial sauces, traditional and unusual Italian menu items. Yeah, Spaghetti and Pizza, but, go a step further....try the Veal Parmagiano, or Chicken Damabianca. The sauces were rich and velvety. The flavors aurhentic and well-developed. The decor was simple, and plastic glasses were so-so. The pasta bowls, rimmed with Parmesan and oregano was a bit cluttered looking, but the food was a healthy portion, and well-sauced. they have just opened but will probably add alcohol soon

Really good and fairly authentic Italian food especially for Paul's Valley, Oklahoma along I35. The service was fast and friendly. Clean restaurant and generally a nice place to stop and eat when traveling. The lasagna was really good as the spaghetti and meatballs. We will be back!

Shocked how good the food was at this little truck stop. Best chicken marsala I have ever had. My husband had a dish with sausage and green pepper that was also very good. A little on spicy side but tasty. The service was also very good and place was clean. I will remember this next year on our way down to Texas.

I would eat here 10 days out of 10. Seems a strange location at a truck stop for HIGH end Italian food. The Veal is real! A lot of nice wine based sauces, nice and light but full of flavor. Place is small but staff is very friendly. I will definitely stop here again! This is the first time I ever felt the need to post such a comment!!

The only thing worse than the service was the mushy eggplant parmigiana. We were greeted by a waitress who wasn't shy about informing us that she was happy we sat close to the kitchen window so she wouldn't have to walk far. Our salad contained more water in the bottom of the bowl than dressing and the eggplant was an inedible pile of mush and mozzarella. The waitress ignored our complaints about the eggplant that we barely tasted and sent back and then had the nerve to leave a check for the full price. The place is very small and the mgr was aware of the issue but never bothered to make it right. We ended up just walking out. Horrible!
